Australasia Gold is a minerals exploration
and mine development company focussed on gold. Its projects
are located in the Pine Creek region of the Northern Territory,
in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales and in the Otago
Region of New Zealand’s south island.
Each of these project areas is centrally located
in a region with recognised gold endowment, and both historic
and modern gold production. Each of Australasia’s project
areas includes known gold mineralisation, and exploration
potential which has received little attention in recent time.
The Company has been established:
- To investigate the extent of high grade
palaeoplacer gold mineralisation identified at the Wetherstones
gold deposit in the Otago Region, New Zealand;
- To complete the evaluation of the feasibility
of mining the resource of the Glencoe gold deposit, and
to explore its depth extensions, in the Pine Creek Region,
Northern Territory
- To conduct exploration applying innovative
models to the generation of targets in the Pine Creek region,
around historic mining centres in the Otago Region, and
below cover in the vicinity of the old Lucknow and the
modern Cadia-Ridgeway mines in the Lachlan Fold Belt of
New South Wales; and
- Where warranted by results, to advance these
projects to mining operations at the earliest practicable
date.
The Board brings together a comprehensive
body of Australian and international minerals industry
experience, encompassing exploration and discovery, project
evaluation and mine development, and mining operations.
We seek to apply this expertise to building a substantial
junior gold mining and exploration company, based on the
above projects and by the acquisition of substantial advanced
projects both within and beyond the limits of Australasia. |
