Gold owns three regional projects:
- In the Pine Creek gold province in the Northern Territory - the Glencoe gold deposit and associated exploration tenements. The Company aims (subject to feasibility) to generate early cash flow by mining the Glencoe gold deposit and to discover lode and Callie-style gold deposits of medium grade and multi-million ounce magnitude in the extensions of Glencoe and at shallow depth elsewhere.
- In the Gawler Craton in South Australia - the Murninnie copper gold prospect is situated in the southern part of the “Olympic Domain” - the geological province containing Prominent Hill, Olympic Dam (Roxby Downs), Carrapateena and Moonta-Wallaroo iron-oxide-copper-gold (“IOCG”) deposits. Geophysical signatures, outcropping copper & associated metals mineralization and trace element assemblages in drill core are thought to indicate prospectivity within the exploration licence (EL) for IOCG styles of mineralisation. Younger sediments overlying the basement rocks in the eastern part of the EL are prospective for sediment-hosted styles of uranium mineralisation. This potential is being explored through a joint venture with UraniumSA Ltd.
